LENS Neurofeedback
A gentle, science-backed way to help your brain find balance.
At Hope on ACK, we offer Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS,) which is a non-invasive, cutting-edge approach to supporting emotional well-being, focus, and nervous system regulation. LENS uses extremely low-strength electromagnetic signals to gently help the brain “reset” from patterns of stress, overwhelm, or dysregulation.
-
LENS delivers a tiny, imperceptible signal through sensors placed on the scalp.
This signal helps your brain move out of stuck patterns—much like rebooting a computer—allowing it to function more flexibly and efficiently.
Sessions are quick (often under 30 minutes) and require no effort on your part.
-
Research and clinical experience show that LENS can support:
Anxiety, stress, and trauma recovery
Depression and mood regulation
ADHD and focus challenges
Sleep difficulties and chronic fatigue
Post-concussion and brain injury recovery
Nervous system overarousal (often seen in PMDD, PTSD, or burnout)
Chronic pain and tension-related symptoms
Migraine frequency and intensity
Emotional reactivity and irritability
Cognitive fog and slowed processing
Substance use and misuse recovery – by helping calm cravings, reduce impulsivity, and support emotional stability during recovery
Support during life transitions and periods of high stress
Many clients report feeling calmer, clearer, and more resilient—sometimes after just a few sessions.

Living on an island offers beauty and connection, but can also mean limited access to specialized mental health resources. Bringing LENS to Hope on ACK means residents have access to a powerful therapeutic tool right here at home, without traveling off-island.
-
Initial Consultation: We discuss your goals, symptoms, and overall health history.
Personalized Plan: Your sessions are tailored to your comfort level and needs.
Gentle Approach: LENS is well-tolerated for all ages, from children to adults, and requires no active participation—just relax while your brain does the work.
-
At Hope on ACK, LENS can be offered as a standalone service or in combination with talk therapy for deeper, longer-lasting results. Many clients find that therapy feels easier and more effective after LENS, because the brain is better able to process and integrate change.
