Miranda Luis , LMHC
Miranda Luis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and the compassionate Director guiding both Hope on ACK and New Hope Therapeutic Services.
Miranda found her calling in mental health through her passion for trauma-informed and person-centered care. Bringing depth and heart to her practice, she specializes in supporting individuals, couples, and families through:
Trauma, PTSD & Complex PTSD (CPTSD)
Anxiety, OCD, depression, grief & life transitions
LGBTQ+–affirming care—including gender transition and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
Military, first responder, adolescent, and couples counseling
She integrates evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, CPT, and mindfulness with innovative approaches like LENS Neurofeedback, helping the nervous system find greater balance and resilience.
As Director, Miranda is not only a clinician—she also nurtures the vision and quality of care at both practices, guiding our teams with warmth, integrity, and clinical excellence.
When she’s not at work, Miranda enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs. You’ll often find her outside, reading by the ocean, traveling, or watching a motocross event. She also has a love for sports, especially soccer and football, and is always looking for new places to explore and new foods to try.
